On behalf of the Music Department, welcome to Carleton College! We encourage you to continue to develop your interest in music as part of your studies. Please be assured that many Carleton students take private lessons and/or participate in ensembles in addition to their three 6-credit courses.

We encourage you to fill out the Music Interest Form to indicate your interest in music lessons or ensembles. After you fill it out, a faculty member will be able to get in touch with you to provide more information and resources.

Music Fest

This year’s Music Open House is on Wednesday, September 6, 3:00–4:30 p.m. You will meet the music faculty, get to know other students interested in music, and learn how to get involved!
